Only 200 steps away from the water, Reef Cottage exemplifies tropical living by the Coral Sea, and is authentic to the North Queensland Coast in a romantic style. Formerly a weekend fishing cottage, it has been extensively renovated whilst retaining much of its original character. The Beach

Secluded Wonga Beach is 8.6 miles long and faces the Coral Sea, home of the Great Barrier Reef. Stroll peacefully and enjoy spectacular views of the Daintree mountains in the north. Lay the Cottage's outdoor/picnic equipment on the sand and while your time away. Reef Cottage Wonga Beach is at South Wonga Beach where you'll find an inner coral reef. Low tide produces interesting tidal pools with microcosms and rare brain coral views. Tropical and migratory birds inhabit the beach forest. There are many traversing walkways for discovering the foreshore that holds a few historic sites.

Wonga Beach is centrally located between Port Douglas and Cape Tribulation of Tropical North Queensland.
