Follow our blog “The Scenic Drive to Wonga Beach”.

On the Mossman-Daintree Road, when you go past Rocky Point, look out for a residence’s name on your left - “Gunnadoo” as an indicator of the last bend before Wonga Beach.

Once you turn around, the first marker is a yellow T-Junction road sign on the left. Then the suburb sign announces your arrival at Wonga Beach and directly opposite to it is where you turn right into the main access road, Marlin Drive.

Perfect Winter Break

Thank you for having us in your cottage. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted for our holiday. We did a few walks through the Daintree which was beautiful and went snorkelling and scuba diving off the reef. We'll be recommending Reef Cottage to our friends and family!

Our Home Away

We had read all the on-line reviews before deciding to book Reef Cottage for our holiday. The house did turn out to be exceptionally well provided, including a power transformer for US electricity voltage 110v. Mei had thought of everything! The location was very good for sight-seeing, and for us, the crocodile cruises were a highlight of our stay. We highly recommend this place.

Remarkable holiday home by tropical beach

Mei could not have made us feel more welcome. She had thought about every detail and having the breakfast provisions was very helpful. The description of the property was accurate, but the reality even exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful home in a lovely location. Wonga Beach is a tropical paradise.

Mei ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr gut betreut. Der Auflug mit Brett war ein sehr guter Tipp! Das Haus ist ein Bijou und hat unsere Erwartungen vollkommen erfüllt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfassend uns hat nichts gefehlt! Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und ideal um Ausflüge in die Daintree Region und Port Douglas zu unternehmen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen die Unterkunft und die Gastgeberin gerne weiter.
